Elderly woman appeals for a helping hand to suport her, and her and her family 

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of an elderly woman Maliya K. A.  She  lives with her two daughters, one of whom is a widow with a child, and the other daughter is a student.  They live in a house in a slum area.  The house lacks the most basic requirements for living.

Maliya works as a cook in a restaurant for a daily wage of 20,000 IQD (approx. £12), which is insufficient to meet the family’s basic needs.  Besides this money, the family has no other source of income.

This family needs: 

• A donation of 300,000 IQD (approx. £190) to buy a refrigerator.
• A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £95) to buy an air cooler fan.
• A donation of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to buy household provisions.

The family appeals to charitable people to extend a helping hand to them to overcome the difficulties of life.
