Widow appeals to benefactors for support 

Staff from Sadr City Branch visited the family of the widow Hanaa Y. H.  They learnt that she suffers from blood pressure and has a heart disease.  She lives with her two children in slum area, in a house with a tin roof.

Since the father died of cancer, this family has been suffering difficult living conditions.  They do not have any financial source or monthly income. Hanaa’s son “Ali” is in the fifth grade of primary school and her daughter had to give up school due to their poverty.

This family needs: 

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each orphan. (X2)
• A donation of 350,000 IQD (approx. £220) to buy a refrigerator.
• A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £95) for medical reviews.

The widow, supported by Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity’, appeals to charitable people with compassionate hearts, to extend a helping hand and to assist this family.
