Widow’s appeal to charitable people 

Staff from Karbala Branch visited the family of the widow, Shatha M. A.  They discovered that Shatha lives in a house in a slum area together with her elderly mother and her orphan.  The house is very small, and lacks many essential needs.  Shatha suffers from joint pain.

The family is suffering from difficult living conditions after the death of the father, as they do not have any financial source or monthly income. Her daughter “Yaqeen” is in the fifth grade of primary school and is continuing her studies despite the difficult circumstances.

The widow, through the ‘Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity’, appeals to charitable people with compassionate hearts who follow our charitable work to extend a helping hand and assist them.

This family needs:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each orphan. (X1)
• A donation of 350,000 IQD (approx. £220) to buy refrigerator.
• A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £95) for medical reviews.
