Help an impovrished brother provide for his siblings  

The staff of the branch visited the family of Mr. Hameed H. A. It was found that the family consists of five orphans who are sponsored by their eldest brother from their father’s first wife. They are living in a house in a slum area.  Their house lacks the most basic necessities, which they are unable to provide due to their poverty.

They do not have any financial income or a social benefit allowance.  They rely totally on the help they receive from kind, compassionate people.

After their father and mother died, the eldest brother took custody of them.  He has shouldered all their responsibilities. Some of the children attend school.

The eldest brother is suffering from the burden and difficulties of life, as he takes care of his family of six -  his children, who are school students, and his brothers at the same time. He does not have any financial income, but he works as a construction worker for a daily wage on a casual basis.

The family suffers from a very difficult and harsh life.  They need someone to stand with them and help them.

To help this family, they need:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) per month for each orphan. (X5)
• A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy mattresses.
• A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £125) to buy a cooker.
• A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £155) to buy a washing machine.
• A donation of 300,000 IQD (approx. £190) to buy a refrigerator.

The branch staff and the family ask charitable people to help them overcome some of their difficulties.
