Desperate widow in need of a helping hand 

Staff from Bayaa Branch visited the family of the widow, Huda J.  They discovered that she is living in a slum housing area, in a house that she rents for an amount of 150,000 IQD (approx. £95) per month.

This poor widow is solely responsible for the care of her two orphans.  Both children attend school.  Huda has no fixed income other than a small allowance she receives from social welfare.  This s not enough to meet the family's needs.

This family needs:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) per month for each orphan. (x2)
• A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy clothes for the orphans.
• A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £160) to buy a washing machine.
• A donation of 300,000 IQD (approx. £190) to buy a wardrobe.

The branch staff and the family appeal to people with good hearts to save them from their tragedy.
