Destitute mother with five orphans
Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of the widow Salwa A. M. Th discovered that this family lives in a simple house in an agricultural area. The house is in need of some basic appliances, which the family cannot afford to buy due to their poverty. They have no financial income or social benefit. They are entirely reliant on the help they receive from some charitable people.
The family consists of six members, the mother and her five children, three of whom are school students.
Following the death of her husband, the mother became solely responsible for the upbringing and welfare of her children. Since this time, she has endured suffering, and needs someone to extend a helping hand to help her.
Salwa’s eldest son works as a laborer in order to support his family. He earns a small daily wage
The poor family are existing under very difficult living conditions. They are in desperate need of help from people of charity.
