Launch of annual Warm Winter Campaign

As the winter nights grow longer, and winter closes in bringing cold weather and suffering, Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity now launches its annual Warm Winter Campaign 2023/2024 to provide for needy citizens registered with our charity branches in Iraq.

This humanitarian campaign is an opportunity for generous, kind hearted people to provide winter warmth relief to needy families, orphans, destitute and sick people in Iraq who have no money to buy for themselves and keep warm this winter.

Please donate towards one, or more, of the below listed needed items: 

- 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) to pay for winter bedcovers for one needy person.

- 35,000 IQD (approx. £20) to buy children's winter clothes for one orphaned child.

- 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) to buy a winter heater for one family.

- 80,000 IQD (approx. £50) to buy a hot water boiler for one family.

Your generous giving will bring immeasurable warmth, happiness and hope to a needy person during the winter cold.
