Annual Back to School Campaign
At the Beginning of the New Academic Year 2023
We announce our Humanitarian Back to School Campaign
Shakiry Charity together with the staff and volunteers at our Branches in Iraq have embarked on our annual Back to School Campaign. Every effort is being made to facilitate scholars to resume their school careers, and in other instances, to commence attending school.
We will focus our energy on promoting this year’s Humanitarian Back to School Campaign. The emphasis will be on providing children, registered with one of our charity branches, with the required school clothing, shoes, bags and stationery items, as well as (where required) a means to travel to, and from school. We will work tirelessly to overcome the barriers that prevent some children from attending school and getting an education. Our aim is to provide each child with an opportunity to learn, which will lead to an opportunity for a bright future filled with hope.
With the support and backing of your generous donations, Shakiry Charity will be able to purchase these school items and distribute them to children from poor families, as well as those with special needs, so that these children will have opportunities to succeed in life alongside more fortunate children.
Shakiry Charity is seeking Back to School donations of 45,000 IQD (approx. £25) per child. This will cover the cost of school clothes, shoes, bag, and stationery items.
We hold great hope for the successful outcome of this Humanitarian Campaign. Donors throughout the world know and understand the importance of education. A child may be born into poverty, but education and knowledge can set him/her free to pursue dreams of the future, and a life of self-sufficiency and dignity. Reach out and give a child a chance in life.
