Mother seeks help to become self supportive
Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of Noor M. H. They found that this woman is separated from her husband. She is responsible for her two-year-old daughter, and her ex-husband does not pay her any maintenance.
The woman lives with her parents in a simple house that, due to their poverty, lacks the everyday household items and commodities they need. Furthermore, they have no source of financial income or salary other than basic support they receive from well-meaning benefactors.
When her life became so harsh, this poor woman, decided to open a small shop from her home, intending to earn a living by selling basic provisions and supplies to the public. In need of financial funding to develop her project, she approached Al Shakiry Charity Basra Branch, for direction and support.
Noor hopes that through her concerted efforts and hard work, she will be able to raise her standard of living and provide a better life for her family and herself.
