Family, weary from disease and poverty, appeals for help 

Staff from the Branch made a field visit to the needy family of Khalida A.H. in order to assess their living conditions. They found that the father could not work due to illness (eye conditions) and one of the sons is mentally disabled since birth. 

Two other sons work in construction, earning low wages. 

This family is going through harsh life conditions.  Their needs cannot be met due to a lack of income.   

They need:  

-  Monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) so they can be included on the Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity Food and Clothing program.

- A donation of 250000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a washing machine.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £115) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) to pay towards medical treatment costs.

Staff from the Branch and members of this needy family appeal to people of charity to help provide for some of their needs.
