Sick, destitute family appeals for compassionate support

Sadr City Branch staff visited the family of a poor lady (A, W, G).  She lives with her husband and three children in a rented house that lacks many basic amenities.

The husband is an employee earning daily wages.   His income is insufficient to cover the cost of living and monthly rental.  The wife suffers from a chronic stomach ulcer (she has a tumour in her stomach).  She also has an eyebrow hernia. She requires ongoing medical reviews and treatments that the family cannot afford.

The youngest son of the family suffers from cerebral palsy and cerebral atrophy.  He has difficulty moving and suffers also with ureteral obstruction, according to his medical report.

This family, exhausted through living in poverty and disease, lack many basic life necessities. They have urgent medical needs, which the head of the family cannot provide for. 

In desperation they contacted Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity to appeal for assistance. 

The family needs:

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £145) towards medical assessments and treatment.

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £145) to buy an air cooler.

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £145) to buy a cooker.
