Poor family appeals to people of compassion for help

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of a poor woman Ashjan W.A.  She lives with her husband and their two children in a slum area in a dilapidated house that lacks many the basic necessities. 

The husband works and earns a daily wage.  His income is not enough to meet the needs of his family. They have no stable source of income. 

The family has applied for a social welfare allowance, but currently they are dependant on help they receive from kind-hearted people. 

They urgently need:

- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy an air cooler. 

- A donation of 300.000 IQD (approx. £1890) to buy a refrigerator.
