Widow seeks your help

Branch staff visited the family of the widow Ferdous N.GH. The family consists of the mother and three children, all whom still attend school. They live in a slum area in a house which lacks many of the basic necessities.  The house suffers from damp and cracks in the walls causing rain to penetrate during winter.

The head of the family died in a fire accident, leaving the mother to care and provide for herself and her orphans.

The widow receives a welfare allowance, but it is not enough to meet the family's basic needs.

This family is in dire need of:

- Ongoing monthly Orphan Sponsorship of  50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per orphan (x3) per month

- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to purchase school supplies or the orphans.

- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy a washing machine.

The widow and the branch staff have great hope that benefactors will not hesitate to help this orphaned family, and provide for some of their needs.
