Visit to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs

This year, a prominent delegation from the headquarters of Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity, led by Mr Al-Rikaby (Managing Director) visited the Vocational Training Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (Korean-Iraqi Institute).

The meeting, held with the Director of the Department, outlined our programs to train and qualify unemployed certificate holders, how to register them with the department, and how the charity cooperates with the Department to serve this important segment of the nation's sons.

The Director of the Institute spoke about the advanced capabilities in training this segment of society, confirming their readiness to receive young men and women to qualify them.  

Mr Al-Rikaby welcomed this high-level initiative and the joint cooperation between the charity and the Institute to hold courses to develop and qualify the unemployed, especially graduates of colleges, institutes and secondary schools, in order to provide them with job and educational opportunities.  He thanked the Director of the Vocational Training Department for these efforts made to serve the public interest
