Launch of Annual Winter Warmth Campaign

Spend and do not fear loss, for livelihoods are divided among the servants of the Most Merciful.
 

With the cold weather and rainy season rapidly approaching, Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity, together with its branches in Iraq launched its annual Winter Warmth humanitarian campaign. 

The campaign intends to provide vital warm supplies to poor families registered with the Branches.  Warm winter clothes, blankets, mattresses, heaters and water heaters will be distributed to needy families, orphans, and those suffering from destitution and disease. Needy families will receive vouchers to the value of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30).  The vouchers can be redeemed according to the family’s winter needs.
