A poor lady’s family appeal for help

Among the field visits carried out by the staff of Bayaa Branch, was a visit to the family of Shatha H. They discovered that this family lives in a house which was built without planning permission

There are 5 children in this family.  The eldest son dropped out of school to work and support his family. The father suffers from a mental condition and requires regular treatment.

The mother adopted her brother-in-law’s orphaned child, Ruqaya J. following the death of the girl's grandmother and aunt. 

This family has no regular source of income other than help they receive from good people.

To help this family, they need:

- Ongoing Family Medical Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per month.

- A donation of 350.000 IQD (approx. £210) to purchase a refrigerator.

- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to purchase a cooker.

Staff from the Branch and the family appeal to people of righteousness and charity to extend a helping hand to them.
