Mother of two orphans appeals for assistance 

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of the widow Doa'a S. H.  She lives with her orphans in a rented room paying 100.000 IQD (approx £60) per month. The walls of the room and the ceiling are dilapidated. 

This family lives under very difficult conditions.  Doa’a cannot provide the most basic necessities for a decent life.  She cannot even pay the electric generator bill.

The children are in full time education and the family receives a monthly social benefit allowance of 400.000 IQD (approx. £240).  This is not enough to pay the rent and provide for other necessary requirements of the family.

This family is in need of:

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to purchase a cooker.

- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) to pay for school supplies.

The family appeals to benevolent people to extend a helping hand to them.
