Widow and her six orphans need assistance.

As part of their regular field visits to follow up on the welfare of needy families registered with the Branch, staff visited Nawal G.Y and her family. This family lives in a rented apartment costing 250,000 IQD (approx. £150) per month.  All the children are in full time education.

This widow and her orphans manage to live from the help they receive from benevolent people.  Nawal does not have any source of income.

Despite their difficult living conditions, and the distance between the schools and their place of residence, together with the high cost of living, Nawal is very keen to  see that her children complete their education and secure a future.

In their desperation, the family resorted to contact Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity seeking humanitarian assistance from benefactors.

They need:

- Regular monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £15) per orphan (6)

- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to provide for the daily needs of the orphans

- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a washing machine.

- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to purchase of air cooler.

Please reach out and support this needy Mother, whose greatest wish is to provide for her orphans and provide them with and education.
