Najaf Branch
Kind uncle appeals to benevolent people to support niece’s education
Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of Mr. Abbas. M. M. They live in one of the Husseiniyas on the way to Karbala. They are one of the displaced families from Ninawah Governorate. They fled the province as a result of the criminal activities by ISIS who assassinated Abbas’s older brother, leaving his daughter an orphan. Mr. Abbas has been her guardian since.
Mr. Abbas works as a farmer on a modest daily wage that is not enough to meet their living requirements.
He lives with his elderly mother and niece, who thanks to him is continuing her education. They have many any requirements, including transportation fees to school, as there are no schools in their area.
This family suffers from difficult living conditions due to their poverty and deprivation. Abbas sought guidance from Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity. He appeals to people of humanity and compassion for help.
This family needs: -
- Ongoing monthly orphan sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30)
- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) to pay for school supplies
- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy winter provisions for the family
We ask people of compassion to reach out and support Abbas in his efforts to provide for his orphaned niece
