Humanitarian Campaign - Food Relief and Clothing Program

Every day in Iraq, there are thousands of poor families and orphans with special needs who are living below the poverty line. These families are struggling to access the most basic means of a decent life, or hope for a roof over their heads in order to protect them from the summer heat, the winter cold and the everyday dangers of life.

The absence of a breadwinner, or a regular monthly income, increases the sufferings of poor families and deprives them of the necessary means of substance such as food, clothing and medicine.

In recognition of this suffering, Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity has launched its latest campaign of The Food Aid and Clothing Program. 

The program is aimed to support the needs of poor families, orphans, citizens living with disabilities and the elderly, who are registered with one of our Branches across Iraq.

The Charity aims to provide vouchers to the value of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) redeemable against food baskets or essential supplies, to families, children and the elderly in need

This humanitarian programme will be ongoing.  We believe that it will bring relief from suffering to many people, especially at this time of the year.

We ask you to donate £30, or multiples of £30 to this Campaign which will bring great relief from suffering to people in need.
