Meeting with Baghdad Head Office Representative

Mr. Sajjad Al-Mayahi, representative of Al-Shakiry Charity General Administration, Baghdad, met with a number of poor beneficiary families registered with Sadr City Branch. 

Staff followed up on the conditions these families are living under, and asked about their requirements, and how best to assist families, orphans and people with special needs.

Families were urged to encourage their children to continue their education - poverty is not an excuse to drop out of school. Besides attending school protects and preserves children from learning bad habits that are alien to Iraqi society.

In conclusion, the families extended their thanks and gratitude to Mr. Abdul Sahib Al-Shakiry and the administration staff, both in London and Baghdad Head Offices, for helping them meet their needs and providing the necessary support.

The families also extended their sincere thanks to all the generous and mindful Donors who continue to provide assistance to them.
