Widow and orphans appeal to people of mercy and compassion

Najaf staff visited the family of the widow F.KH.F. They found that the family consists of the mother and her four orphans, ranging in age between 10-16 years. 

Her husband died in a traffic accident, leaving the responsibility of caring for the orphans on her shoulders.

The family lives in an agricultural area and their house lacks the most basic essentials. 

This poor widow receives a social welfare benefit of 320.000 IQD (approx. £190). Her orphans are in full time education. 

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly orphan assistance of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per orphan (x4), per month.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a washing machine.

The staff of the branch and the poor family hope that benevolent people will reach out to assist them overcome some small part of their difficult life conditions.
