A kind donation of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) received from Mr. Abdul Sahib Shakiry, was presented to the widow, Halima, G W.

This donation was issued under Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity voucher project, which provides for the needs of poor families.  Under the scheme, vouchers may be redeemed from Shakiry Charity shops against food, clothing and basic household requirements, according to the requirements of needy families.

Halima was delighted to receive mattresses and winter covers according to her request, and her family’s needs.

Staff from Sadr City Branch and the poor lady extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the generous donor for his continuous, ongoing and humanitarian giving to poor families, praying to God to bless him with good health and general wellness
