Najaf Branch:
Family of Nour Al-Huda continue to appeal for help
Staff from Najaf Branch undertook a follow-up visit to assess the living conditions of the poor lady, Nour Al-Huda, R.A and her family. They discovered that this family continues to suffer under their difficult living conditions.
Two of the children (Abdullah and Zaid) have special needs. They both suffered disabilities at birth. Abdullah suffers from epilepsy and paralysis of the lower limbs. Zaid suffers from paralysis of the lower limbs and the appearance of scattered tumours in the head area and bruising of his back.
The father works as a construction worker. His wages are insufficient to meet the most basic needs of his family.
The grandfather and grandmother live with the family. They also suffer various diseases - diabetes, high blood pressure and a heart condition.
This family is living below the poverty line. They rely on a small social support benefit and the financial help they receive from time to time from benevolent philanthropists. Sadly this is not enough to meet their most basic needs of food, drink and health supplies.
This family needs:
- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to pay for medical treatment and health supplies.
- A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) to buy an electric heater.
- A donation of 50.000 IQ (approx. £30) to receive a food basket.
Staff from the Branch hope that benevolent people will extend a helping hand to this needy family.
