Poor lady appeals to benefactors to help her and grandchildren

The branch staff visited the home of the poor lady Flieha, R. Z and her family. 

This family consists of four members, the grandmother and her three grandchildren.  They live in a house built without permission.  Their home lacks the most basic necessities, which she is unable to buy, due to their very poor financial situation.

Flieha’s son was sentenced for several years.  His wife left their three daughters with the grandmother, without any help.

One of the children was exposed to a skin disease, the result of which was an entire deformity of the face.  She was unable to see the doctors.

This grandmother works as a cleaner in a school in order to earn a small wage to support the children’s needs.  This family is going through very difficult, harsh conditions and desperately need a helping hand.

This family needs:

- A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) to buy an electric oven.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a washing machine.

- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy a wardrobe.

We hope that benefactors will look with compassion at the situation of this family and the difficulties they are enduring, and will reach out to help alleviate their hardship.
