Family of orphans appeal for mercy and compassion  

Najaf Branch staff visited the family of Doaa . GH. J.  She lives with her two orphans in an old dilapidated house. This family have suffered difficult living conditions since the father died in an accident.

This widow and her orphans live in a rented house costing 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) per month.  The house lacks many basic necessities which Doaa cannot afford to buy due to her difficult financial situation.

Although this family receives a social welfare benefit of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120), this is not enough to cover their basic living expenses.

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) for each orphan (x2)

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 350.000 IQD (approx. £210) to buy a refrigerator.

- A donation of 150000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy a gas oven.

The branch staff appeals to benevolent people to extend a helping hand to this widow and her needy orphans.
