Family suffering from poverty and deprivation appeal for assistance

Basra Branch staff visited the family of the poor lady Nidal J.M. She lives with her family comprising of five members.   

They live in a dilapidated house which lacks the most basic household necessities, which the family cannot provide as they have no source of income.  They rely on the generosity of kind benefactors for their day to day living.

The eldest son earns a small wage, which he gives in alimony to his ex-wife.  She separated from him and left the children, who are under the age of three, with him. Their grandmother took full responsibility for them despite the fact that she is sick and suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure.

One of the children has "neck burns" and needs surgery and medical checkups to manage the situation.

This family, lives in dire conditions.  They desperately need:

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.
- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a washing machine.

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a refrigerator

We hope that people of humanity and compassion will look, with compassion, at the situation this family is enduring, and will reach out to  help them overcome part of their suffering
