Family suffering poverty and disease in desperate need of a helping hand.

Branch staff visited the family of the poor lady Huda K.A.

The family consists of five members who live in a dilapidated house for which they pay a monthly rent of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90)

The house lacks the most basic household necessities, which they cannot afford to buy, due to their difficult financial situation.  They have no source of income or social welfare benefit.  They rely on simple donations from benefactors.

The father used to work, earning daily wages.  He had to leave work when his health started to suffer from epilepsy and diabetes. He needs monthly treatment costing100.000 IQD (approx. £60).

His wife also suffers from diabetes and joint issues and needs knee replacement surgery as well as medical checkups.

Two of their children are in full time education and need school supplies.

The family suffers from extremely harsh living conditions and they go through many difficult days.

This family needs:

-A Medical Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per month.

- A Donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30)to buy an electric oven.

- A Donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60 ) to buy mattresses.

- A Donation of 175.000 IQD (approx. £105) to buy a washing machine.

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.
