Widow caring for nine orphans appeals for compassionate help.

Branch staff visited the family of the widow, Zeina J.S. The family consists of nine orphans and their mother.

The father died as a result of a medical error, and staff learnt that one of the sons had to leave school in order to work, and earn a daily wage of 15.000 IQD (approx. £10) in order to provide for some of the family's needs.

He also helps six of his siblings who are still in full time education.

The location of their school is far from their residence, which prompted him to pay 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for their transportation.  This is in addition to other living expenses.

The family home lacks the most basic elements of a normal life and its requirements. The mother tries to provide what she can with the help of kind benefactors.

This family needs:

- Monthly Orphan Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per orphan (x6)

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a washing machine.

- A Donation of 300000 IQD (appro £180) to buy a refrigerator.

We hope that people of mercy and compassion will extend a helping hand to this family so that they overcome their difficult circumstances.
