Diabetic lady appeals for help

Hana H.H.M. is a 53 years old lady who lives in a rented house with her daughter.

This lady turned in desperation to Al-Shakiry for Social Solidarity in order to appeal to benevolent people for help to save her foot from amputation, before it is too late. She suffers from an advanced stage of diabetes and its complications, which causes her ulcers, swelling in the foot, inflammation of the bones and if not treated properly, her leg is prone to be amputated. In addition to all this, she has suffered a stroke.

Her family does not have any source of income, apart from a small social welfare benefit which she receives, and the support of kind benefactors.  This is insufficient to pay for a single medical review, costing 200.000 IQD (approx. £120).

This lady is in urgent need of:

- Monthly Medical Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30)

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to pay for medical checkups.

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to pay for some treatments and medical supplies.
