Deprived family urgently appeal for support for their sick mother

Staff recently visited a sick lady, Beshn N.GH. and her family.

The family consists of eight members.  Five of the children still attend school. They live in a dilapidated house built without permission.  They are in need of many basic household items, which they cannot buy due to their poor financial situation. They have no source of income apart from a small social welfare benefit.

Beshn was diagnosed with breast cancer, which spread to her liver and lungs.   Her condition has worsened significantly, and she is now bedridden and unable to walk or move. Her husband is unable to work due to his family's dire situation.  He is solely responsible for caring for the children, including providing food and drink, as well as providing care for his sick wife.

The mother undergoes chemotherapy every 25 days.  She need immune injections costing 200,000 IQD (approx. £120). The family does not have the money to pay for her treatment, and rely on donations from generous individuals. 

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per month.

- A Donation of 500.000 IQD (approx. £300) to purchase an electric disabled vehicle.

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150 to repair the metal roof of the house.

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.

We hope that people of mercy and humanity will consider the plight of this family, and extend a helping hand to them.
