Poor woman appeals to benevolent people, for help.

Staff from Najaf Branch undertook a follow up visit to assess the living conditions of the poor lady, Asmaa A.Z, and her two children.  The family continues to live under difficult circumstances following Asmaa’s separation from her husband.

This woman lives in a house that lacks the most basic essentials due to her poor financial situation. Her children are in full time education.

Asmaa has started a pastry making project, working from her home.  She seeks to expand it so that she can produce large quantities for the purpose of marketing it to stores on a larger scale.

To achieve this, she is in need of raw materials to enable her to continue with her project. The family does not receive any welfare benefit although they have applied for one from the Social Security Department.

They have no other source of income.  They rely on the income from Asmaa’s pastry making project to get by.

To assist this family, they need:

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a gas oven.

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy an electric mixer.

- OR, alternatively, financial support of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy raw materials for pastry production.

The family of the poor lady appeals to kind-hearted people to help them overcome their difficulties.
