Struggling widow cries out for help

The Branch staff visited the family of a poor lady, O'ood N.G.  She lives with her five orphans in a house within the slum area.  The house lacks the most basic essentials.

This mother is solely responsible for the care of her children.  All the children are in full time education despite their difficult conditions, and the costs of transportation and educational requirements.

The family has no source of income except for Donation they receive from their relatives, from time to time, and the benevolent support from charitable individuals.

The family lives under very challenging conditions. O'ood has launched an appeal through Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity network, seeking the support of compassionate people.

This family needs:

- Monthly orphan Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £ 30).

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy an air cooler.

- A Donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy school supplies.

Staff from Najaf Branch hope that sympathetic benefactors will extend a helping hand to help support the needs of this family.
