Impoverished, suffering family appeals to good people for help

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of Mr. Hassan. A. H. This family consists of six members, four of whom suffer from mental retardation, epilepsy, and difficulty in hearing.

The family resides in a makeshift house within a poor residential area.  Their home lacks the most basic components of decent and healthy living.

The mother suffers from paralysis in her lower limbs.

This family requires medical treatments, medicine and a wheelchair for the mother (to replace the current make-shift one she uses).

This family receives a social welfare benefit of 123.000 IQD (approx. £75), which is insufficient to meet their living and health needs.  They depend on help from people of charity.

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly Medical Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per month.

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to pay for treatments and medicine.

- A Donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy mattresses and covers.

-A Donation of 125.000 IQD (approx. £75) to buy a wheelchair.

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a washing machine.

- A Donation of 300.000 IQD (approx. £180) to buy a refrigerator.

We hope that people of goodness and mercy, will consider the plight of this poor family and extend a helping hand to them.
