Three sisters appeal to benefactors for help

Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of a poor young lady, Hawra. N. S. The family consists of three sisters living together in a house, which they rent, and pay 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) per month.  They rely on the generosity of charitable benefactors to pay the rent.

The house lacks the most basic household essentials which they cannot provide because of their poor financial situation, in the absence of any source of income.

Following the death of the father and mother, the older sister took upon herself the responsibility of caring for her younger sisters, although she too is young.  One of her sisters suffers from a birth disability and needs to see the doctors regularly and pay for treatment.

The sisters live under very harsh conditions.  They desperately need someone to stand by them, and support them. 

Their needs:

- Ongoing monthly medical Sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £15) per month

- A Donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy food.

We hope that people of humanity and compassion will consider the desperate situation of these sisters, and reach out to support them to improve their living conditions.
