Najaf branch:

Widow and her three orphaned daughters need the kindness of a stranger

Najaf Branch Staff visited the house of Mrs Afrah. B. A, a mother of three daughters, one of whom has congenital malformation and brain damage.  Following the death of her husband, this mother and her children live with her husband's family in an inherited house.

The mother suffered a stroke and as a result, has nerve damage in her hand.  This requires ongoing treatment.

The family are existing under deteriorating house conditions.  They do not have any support.  The family lacks many essential supplies which the poor mother, Afrah cannot provide. Two of her daughters are in full time education, and need help to cover the monthly expenses.

This family needs:

-Ongoing monthly Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per child (x3)

- A Donation of 350.000 IQD (approx. £210) to buy a refrigerator

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy a freezer.

Branch staff, the mother and her children appeal to people of mercy and compassion to extend a helping hand to them.
