Sadr City Branch:

Widow, exhausted by poverty and destitution in need of help

Staff from Sadr City Branch visited the family of the widow, Balqees H.R. She and her three daughters live in a dilapidated house, which they rent for 150,000 IQD (approx. £105) per month.  The house is located in a slum area.

This family has no source of income, not even a welfare benefit.  They are reliant on small donations they receive from kind benefactors from time to time. 

Staff from the Branch convey the conditions of this family, their suffering and their most important needs to people of compassion and generosity.

This family needs:

- A Donation of 300.000 IQD (approx.  £180) to buy a wardrobe.

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to purchase an air cooler.

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a cooker.
