Poor woman appeals to benevolent peolple for help.

Staff from Najaf Branch undertook a follow-up visit to assess the living conditions of the family of the poor lady Asmaa A.Z.  They discovered that this mother continues to struggle under difficult living circumstances, following her separation from her husband.  She provided care for their two children.

This mother and her children live in a house that is devoid of the most basic essentials due to her poor financial situation. Her children attend full time education.

Asmaa has started a home project (pastry making).  She seeks to expand it so that she can produce greater quantities for the purpose of marketing it to stores on a larger scale.

She needs raw materials to continue her project.  She has no other source of income apart from what this project generates.

The family does not receive any welfare benefit. They have however,  applied for one from the Social Security Department.

To assist this family, they need:

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a gas oven.

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy an electric mixer.

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to pay for raw materials for pastry production.

The family of the poor lady appeals to kind-hearted people to help them overcome their difficulties.
