A poor lady appeals for help

Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of the poor lady Heba. H. S.

The family consists of four members.  They live in a house built without planning permission.  The house lacks the most basic household essentials which the family cannot purchase due to their poor financial situation.

They have no source of income except a simple subsidy they receive from generous benefactors.  Sadly this is not enough to meet the needs of the house and the expenses of the children, all of whom are in full time education.

The husband was sentenced and went to prison.  Whilst in prison he caught an incurable disease.

One of the children suffers from congenital pneumonia and needs to see doctors and get treatment.

The family suffers from harsh and extremely difficult conditions.

To help the family, they need:

- A Donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) for purchase mattresses.

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy a room door.

We hope that kind, generous people will consider the situation of this family and help alleviate their sufferings.
