Educational Seminar on Foundations and Methods of raising a Child

An Educational Seminar focussing on Foundations and Methods of Raising a Child under the slogan The Exemplary Mother, was recently held at the premises of Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity, Najaf Branch.  The seminar focussed on guidance for widows with orphans.

Najaf Branch has recently embarked on a new initiative, to provide such educational training courses.  The focus is on training widowed mothers on the optimal approaches to education, in order to develop and spread a culture of sound learning and development of orphans.

The seminars are facilitated under the patronage of Mr Abdul Sahib Shakiry, founder and chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity (Iraq), together with the support of senior management in London.

The seminar was presented by Mr. Abdul Sahib Riad Kabba, Director of Najaf Branch.  He highlighted the impact parents leave on their children from the moment of their formation, and how this contributes significantly to building the child's personality of the future.  Leniency in raising a child and spoiling is a real felony a child.  This often results in a weak personality, not knowing or realizing the meanings of responsibility.

It should be noted that one of the priorities of the work of Najaf Branch is to hold courses, seminars and field events relevant to family life.  These are held throughout the year, in order to educate and train, particularly women and people with special needs.
