Poor widow appeals to benevolent people for help

The Branch staff visited the widow Ruqayyah T.K. and her family.

She lives with her three orphans in a dilapidated house, which she rents.  The family’s living conditions have become extremely harsh, especially since the death of the widow's husband. The three orphans are in full time education.

The family receives a social welfare benefit of 340 .000 IQD (approx. £200) which covers the rent. There is not enough besides this to meet their basic needs.

Upon expecting the house, the staff noticed the extent to which its ceilings and walls were damaged, and how much the house lacked the most basic necessities.

To help this family, they need:

- Monthly Orphan Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30)per orphan (3)

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker

 - A Donation of 300.000 IQD (approx. £180) to buy a refrigerator.

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy an air cooler.

Or / Sponsor a Family for 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per month, through  Shakiry Charity Supplies' Program, to secure the family's above basic needs, .

The widow's family appeals to people of charity and compassion to help provide for some of their needs.
