Two elderly sisters appeal for help

Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of a poor lady Mia'd GH.G.

The woman and her sister live in a dilapidated house that lacks the most basic household essentials that they are unable to buy due to their poor financial situation.

They have no salary or source of income apart from small donations they receive from kind benefactors.

Mia’d and her elderly sister both suffer from diabetes and hypertension. They need to see doctors for general check-ups and treatments.

Their older brother used to check on their situation and provide for their needs, but he too suffered a health crisis'and is now bedridden.

The two sisters live under very difficult circumstances and need support.

They need:

- Medical Sponsorship of 30.000 IQD (approx. £15) each per month

- A Donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) to purchase an electric oven

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker

- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a refrigerator

We hope that people of compassion and generosity will consider the situation of these poor sisters and extend a helping hand to them
