Basra Branch:
Disabled man appeals to people of humanity for help
Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of Mr. Wissam J. H. The family consists of three members living in a house built without permission. They need several basic goods, which they cannot afford to buy due to their poor financial situation.
The man was exposed to an electrical short circuit accident whilst walking on foot to visit Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). He was subjected to a severe electric shock. The accident led to both of his legs being amputated, as well as part of the tips of his fingers. He also suffered a fracture in the ribs and body deformities due to burns. Due to his severe injuries, he is now unable to move
Due to his extreme suffering and difficult living conditions, Wissam approached Shakiry Charity seeking support from benevolent people to help him with Donation so that he can purchase artificial limbs to be able to move again.
Wissam’s wife suffers from kidney disease. She previously had a kidney removed and needs continuous ongoing treatment.
The poor man has no source of income except a small social welfare benefit, which he receives, but it is not enough to meet his family's needs.
This poor man is in desperate need of donations so that he can buy a set of prosthetics.
Staff from the Branch hope that people of humanity and kindness will extend a helping hand and donate generously to this man and his family.
