Exhausted, poor family appeals to people of virtue and charity

Najaf Branch staff visited a poor lady, Maha K. S.  Her family consists of seven members.  They live in a slum area.  Their house lacks the most basic household necessities.

The family has no source of income other than a monthly social welfare benefit, which they receive of 275,000 IQD (approx. £165).  They rely on small donations from kind benefactors.

The head of the family had to give up work due to chronic diseases.  These illnesses require monthly treatment, which costs 100.000 IQD (approx. £60)

The children stopped going to school because the family could not afford the tuition fees

To help this family, they need:

- An ongoing Family Donation of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month.

- A Donation of 300,000 IQD (approx. £180) to purchase a refrigerator.

- A Donation of 200,0000 IQD (approx. £120) to purchase a cooker.

- A Donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £90) to purchase an air cooler.

The staff of the charity appeal to benevolent people to extend a helping hand to this poor family.
