Poor family appeal to compassionate people for support

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the home of a poor widow, Hawraa H. A.  This widow is caring for her three orphans. Two of them are still in full-time education and are trying, with outstanding results, to complete their studies.  Hawraa’s husband passed away in a traffic accident.

This mother and her family live in rented accommodation for which they pay 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) per month.  The house needs some essentials, which Hawraa cannot afford.

The family does not receive any social welfare benefits, and they have no source of income other than assistance from charitable people, which is insufficient to meet their basic needs.

To assist this family, they need:

- Monthly Sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) for each orphan (x3)

- A Donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to purchase a stove.

- A Donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £180) to purchase a refrigerator.

The branch staff appeals to people of humanity and compassion to extend a helping hand to this lady and her orphans.
