Widow and her three orphans appeal to people of compassion for assistance

Our staff visited the widow Noor N.M. and her three orphans who live in a house with a monthly rent of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120).  The house lacks some basic household necessities that she cannot provide due to her poor financial situation.

The widow has no source of income or salary apart from small donations from kind benefactors.

Noor’s husband passed away three years ago, leaving her with the children, and she has taken on the responsibility of their care. Two of them are still at school and need school supplies. This family suffers from extreme hardship.

To assist the family, they need:

- Monthly Orphan Sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) per orphan (x3)

- A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £150) to purchase a refrigerator.

- A donation of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to purchase an electric oven.

- A donation of 125,000 IQD (approx. £75) to purchase a TV screen.

We hope that charitable and compassionate people will assist the widow to help her meet the needs of her family.
