Destitute lady seeks help from caring people

Staff from the Basra Branch visited a poor lady, Sahira A.D. Her family consists of three members.  They live in a dilapidated house for which they pay a monthly rent of 150,000 IQD (approx. £90).

The house lacks the most basic household necessities, which the lady cannot provide due to her difficult financial conditions.

The family does not have any source of income other than small donations they receive from time to time from kind benefactors.

Sahira’s elderly husband suffers from several illnesses.  He is unable to work.  Their young daughter suffers from a mental disability and requires ongoing treatment costing 75,000 IQD (approx. £45) per treatment.

To help this family, they need...

- A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.  

- A donation of 125,000 IQD (approx. £75) to buy a TV screen.

We appeal to people of humanity to contribute towards providing assistance to this poor family, to help alleviate their hardships.
