An Iraqi Girl Volunteers in the Campaign of Eid Gifts and her tears falls from Happiness and Dreams
30/11/2007

While the campaign of collecting contributions to buy Eid gifts for the Iraqi Orphans is still in progress in the Iraqi Charities Forum, many Iraqis and others have volunteered and contributed for the sake of the campaign. One of these volunteers is the Iraqi girl Khadijah Abdullah, a resident in Bahrain, who have copied and distributed the brochure of the campaign in various areas. In addition, she has designed an advertisement for this sake, as you see with the attached picture, with her great artistic capability.

In her email to the Iraqi Charities Forum, Khadijah Abdullah, reflected her readiness for volunteer work with the Forum to serve the orphanages and Iraqi charity organizations in many ways, such as training on the computer, teaching orphans, web design and designing brochures and advertisements for the sake of Iraqi charities. She has shown her admiration and immense positive affection with the articles and the materials published in the Forum's website. Here are some excerpts from her email: 'We are very interested in your website and all the activities that you perform since long time. By the articles and brochures that I have copied from your website about volunteer work and the situation of orphans I was able to convince my family of volunteer work and changed the views of many people about the deprived group. Therefore, thanks at first and last to you and to all who contribute in this great work in the eyes of the Almighty God.'

When the university girl, Khadijah Abdullah, received a welcome email from us about the possibility of making use of her capacities and capabilities for the advantage of the Iraqi charities, she said: 'I thank you a lot for this offer and I swear by God that in this holy night tears are falling from my eyes and at last, God has answered my prayers.'

Regarding the projects that she dreams to establish in the future, Khadijah said that she dreams in a serious way to establish an orphanage to take care of the orphans and she needs some accurate practical steps in this field when she soon goes to Iraq.
