Health Awareness Seminar on the prevention of viral diseases

Under the patronage of Mr. Abdul Sahib Shakiry, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity (Iraq), and according to directives from senior management in London, the Charity’s Najaf Branch organised a Health Awareness Seminar focused on preventing the spread of coronavirus. The session also addressed distinctions between COVID-19 and other viral diseases, as well as the misinformation circulating about them.

The seminar included discussions on effective strategies for preventing both direct and indirect transmission, highlighting the role of accurate information in adopting proper safety measures. The topics covered safe handwashing techniques, correct usage of medical masks, and other essential preventative practices.

This event is part of an ongoing series of health seminars led by the Najaf Branch to promote disease and virus prevention. Staff members concluded the seminar by wishing all participants continued good health and well-being.
