Urgent Appeal to Support Three Orphans in Need

Branch staff recently visited the family of Ms. Ithar F. N. a kind-hearted woman who has taken on the full responsibility of caring for her three orphaned nieces and nephews, under extremely difficult circumstances. They currently reside in a small, dilapidated room in her brother’s home, lacking even the most basic household necessities — items she simply cannot afford due to her dire financial situation.

Ms. Ithar has no steady source of income, relying only on occasional, modest donations from generous individuals. These are insufficient to cover the family’s daily living expenses.

This tragedy stems from a devastating fire that claimed the lives of the children’s parents and two siblings. Three children survived and are now entirely dependent on their aunt, who is doing her utmost to support them despite her limited means.

All three children are enrolled in full-time education and urgently need school supplies and continued financial support.

To help this vulnerable family, the following assistance is needed:

•  Monthly orphan Sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) per child (x3)
•  A Donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to purchase bedding
•  A Donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to purchase a washing machine
•  A Donation of 125,000 IQD (approx. £75) to purchase a television screen
